About Us:
Immigrant Development Center (IDC) is a 501 C3 tax exempt non-profit organization that serves Cass County, namely Fargo and West Fargo in North Dakota and Clay County, namely Moorhead and Dilworth in Minnesota. Our mission is to build communities that value diversity. Our main goals at IDC are (1) increase the understanding of the value of diversity in the community and (2) eliminate barriers to community participation as experienced by ethnically diverse populations. This organization was established in 2003 to address the challenges and opportunities of growing cultural and ethnic diversity.
Vision:
To bring immigrants together who have a common goal in caring about the well-being of others and their environmental surroundings.
Goals:
1. To develop and international market in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
2. To provide skill based, culturally sensitive training to immigrant entrepreneurs to ensure their success in the market place.
3. Establish a cross cultural network of individuals and groups to implement, guide and strengthen the international market place.
4. To develop a network of agencies to assist in the development, implementation and guidance of the international market place.
